Remind you is a new application that transforms your slide to unlock screen to a calendar view. The app doesn’t have much special visual tricks or extra features, but if you’re the kind of man/woman who quickly needs to look at the next meeting, then this app is something for you. However.. there’s 1 thing about this app that i do need to mention! It’s price is 19,95$. We still have great alternatives like iToday and Intelliscreen.

RuBooks is a enhancment of the Books application.
Rubooks can open OC/PDF/XLS, FB2, including support to zip-archived files.
I has localization support for Russian, German, Chinese, English and Japanese.
With rubooks you can search Texts, scrool with the volucom buttons, has support for table of contents, book cover and you can virtually open any book file anywhere on your device.
Overall this app is a good improvement over the old books app :)

Remote Controlling your computer.
Touchpad Pro is an application that allows you to control your computer from your iphone/ipod touch.

The application supports Windows as well as MAC, using a VNC server.
Being at version 4.22, the application has encountered quite some bux-fixes and features which makes it more reliable to work with.
UPDATE 4.30 -> The developer fixed some issues with screen resolutions (eg 1440*900)
The most important development is screenview, with screenview you are actually able to display your desktop on the screen of your iphone or ipod.

» Touchrepo Apps and Games Moved to BigBoss

Kingdom lores is the brainchild of Marco Giorgini and it has been released on the installer.
It’s a 3D fantasy game still in it’s early development.
Marco Giorgini is also the developer of Yeti 3D, which most of us already played.
One very cool thing about the developer is the fact that he doesn’t even own a mac, he is creating all these magnificent games with the open source toolchain. Imagine what he could do if he had a mac with the official iPhone SDK?
If you like this game i’d suggest to donate a little, as his work is truly phenomenal.

Excuses or Excuses is another app that got moved from the DAVTEAM to the BigBoss repo.
As i haven’t reviewed it yet, this is a good opportunity to do so.
Excuses is a excuses generator for work, school or Police (although i wouldn’t really use them for the police ;) )
Imagine telling to a police officer, Officer please excuse me because, i thought the red light was a Christmas decoration …
I wouldn’t do that … but if you do try it, please let me know the outcome :)
