iSlsk received a upate to version 0.3.1 today. I skipped version 0.3 as i had some users mailing me that it didnt work very well. Version 0.3.1 resolves the freezing bug some people had. Let me inform you of the changes coming from version 0.2.1b.

CookBook is a new application that has been built upon the older Betty’s cookbook application. It features recipes for breakfast, drinks, dinner and dessert. I can’t find much changes compared to the old Betty application except for a new splash screen and the move to the BigBoss repository.

The iPhone community sources have been updated to version 3.86. Version 3.86 just changes the BigBoss repo again. BigBoss had quite some issues last week with his domain names. If you still cant download anything from the BigBoss repo i suggest you refresh the sources a few times, as it has been known that 1 refresh just doesn’t fix it.

Tetris the popular iPhone Tetris clone received a update to version 3.0. The new version removes the previous “main menu”, “credits”, “info” and “settings”. You now only have 2 buttons remaining which are “Start” and “donate”. A new feature in the game is the possibility to hold your block. this can be handy if you like to keep those long bricks to make a tetris.

BossPrefs is a very handy utility that i would recommend to everybody. I allows you to activate services separately. For example, you can enable WiFi, BleuTooth, Edge, etc by flipping a switch in the application. There have been a lot of updates to BossPrefs in the last couple of days. The most significant changes are that it’s now possible to hide applications right from the BossPrefs as it includes Poof! the application also adds another icon Power, This will let you easily reboot, respring and shutdown your iPhone or iPod Touch. All in all a must have app for your iPhone!
