BioWare, the developers of the popular XBOX 360 game Mass Effect have openly admitted that they are investigating development for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The official word from a MTV interview:

Shozu is a upcoming free iPhone appstore application that promises to make your world mobile. It allows you to interact with almost any popular social network out there. Shozu will allow you to post photos & videos, update your profile status, read and reply to comments and download your friends photos and feeds on nearly all your favorite social networks. The application is already available to several other mobile platforms but the iPhone version is almost ready to be offered in the AppStore.

The blog of iLiumSoft has a new article regarding the upcoming eWallet AppStore application for the iPhone and iPod Touch. eWallet has been a well know application that can safeguard all your personal data. I used it a long time ago together with my Windoze mobile HTC and it was already one of my favorite applications. For all of you who don’t know eWallet, here’s some short information.

HandCircus has been buys with developing a new game for the iPhone AppStore. The name of the game is Rolando and it will be a physics-based platform / puzzle game. SUNSOFT released a video preview of a news upcoming MahJong game made for the iPhone . Mahjang Solitaire, created on Apple’s SDK 2.0 beta. There is no information available when or if it will be released. But the chances are very high that it will be released when the AppStore opens.

Since its announcement, we’ve all been speculating about the iPhone 2.0 firmware release date, but Apple has been hiding the date under our noses all along. “iPhone 2.0 software will be available on July 11 as a free software update via iTunes® 7.7 or later for all iPhone customers,” Apple notes in the original iPhone 3G press release (8th paragraph).

David Frampton, a developer from Majic Jungle Software, has posted screenshots of his AppStore iPhone game Chopper. Chopper is a helicpoter game, much like the classic Choplifter, in which the player must complete various missions while avoiding enemy fire and return safely to the base. The game will be ready to launch together with the launch of the AppStore at 11th of july.
