Philips has announced hue, a new iOS-controlled LED home lighting system which allows you to create and control the light using your smartphone or tablet and is only available in the Apple stores from 30th October. You can emulate nearly any color, as well as personalize the lighting experience with a wide array of dimmer and scheduling options. Since 2009, french designer Philippe Starck was working with Dutch shipbuilder Feadship on a new yacht for the family of Steve Jobs. 9to5mac posted some photos of  the opening of Apple’s beautiful, new Apple Store in the heart of Palo Alto, California. “The front of the 15,030-square-foot store, located on 340 University Ave, is complete with a glass array and is estimated to cost roughly $3.15 million. The Microsoft Surface has just been launched, and there are a lot of people who think this new tablet can actually compete with the iPad. iDB got their hands on a Surface tablet and created a size and weight comparison video “ I compare the Surface’s dimensions and weight to that of the iPad 3. Multiple websites report that Apple will release the iPhone 5 in India and at least 8 other countries on November 2, including: Croatia, the Dominican Republic, Greece, Mexico Bulgaria, Malta, Romania, and Thailand. Apple started the pre-order for the iPad Mini and iPad 4 26 October 3AM Eastern / 12AM Pacific. 17 minutes later, ship dates for the white iPad mini slipped to 2 weeks from the original “Delivers 11/2”, whille the black Wi-Fi iPad mini remains available for delivery by November 2nd. Apple has announced the  financial results for the third calendar quarter and fourth fiscal quarter of 2012. For the quarter, Apple posted revenue of $36.0 billion and net quarterly profit of $8.2 billion by selling 26.9 million iPhones, 14 million iPads, 4.9 million Macs, and 5.3 million iPods. Apple reported a total revenue profit of $41.7 billion for fiscal 2012, in fiscal 2011, Apple mad a profit of $25.9 billion.
