Apple has just released the iOS 6.1 beta 4 to developers with build number 10B5126b. Apple also released beta 3 of the Apple TV software and Xcode 4.6 Developer Preview 4. You can download the Beta software via Apple’s Developer page or via Software Update on iOS devices.

Apple will open the Causeway Bay flagship retail store in Hong Kong later today and features three levels, with a 30-foot tall glass curtain wall making a significant impact on the shopping center. Apple has been putting the finishing touches on it and has unveiled the store for passersby to see. A photo posted to Flickr gives a good impression of Apple’s new store. Apple has just updated iTunes to version 11.0.1 to  fix a number of bugs including AirPlay Bugs, Speed Up Searching and iTunes Match. The update is available in the Mac App Store or via Apple’s support website here.

This update to the new iTunes addresses an issue where new purchases in iCloud may not appear in your library if iTunes Match is turned on, makes iTunes more responsive when searching a large library, fixes a problem where the AirPlay button may not appear as expected, and adds the ability to display duplicate items within your library.

The download is available for OS X (191.08 MB ), Windows (83.01 MB) and Windows64 (84.72 MB).

A view days ago we wrote that the police of Australia issued a warning about Apple Maps to travelers, after several travelers became stranded in the Murray-Sunset National Park trying to reach the city of Mildura using Apple’s directions. Apple did fix the iOS 6 Maps error, but today CNET Australia posted some photos of a new Samsung Galaxy S III display on George Street in Sydney saying “Oops, should have got a Samsung Galaxy S III. Earlier we already wrote that Apple had Launched the iTunes store in 56 new countries including Russia, Turkey and India. TIME Magazine has released its annual collection of 55 lists showcasing the best and the worst of the past 12 months and they named the iPhone 5 “The Gadget Of The Year”. They wrote “There are lots of nifty smartphones out there, including the iPhone’s impressive archrival, Samsung’s Galaxy S III.
