MobileChat ,yes the jailbroken app of Twenty08 has made the jump to the App Store. Many of our first gen iPhone readers will know this app from the Jailbreak community. This was always one of my favorite applications that i installed on about any iPhone. Today it has been released in the App Store. Although it’s not free like PalRingo, it’s still worth while if you don’t like palringo very much.

Lenovo Summer Olympics is a new free app in the App Store that will allow you to follow the olympic games very close-by. The creators Zumobi made this widget/app by request of Intel and Lenovo. The app is free but cause it’s free it will show you the occasional ad of Lenovo or Intel. Other than this the app is great if your a olympic games fan.

In a interview with the Wall Street Journal Steve Jobs talked about the App Store and the the removal of malicious apps option that was found in the iPhone by Jonathan Zdziarski. The article speaks the most about numbers of applications that have been downloaded. Just to give you some. super monkey ball has been downloaded over 300.000 times generating a revenue of more then 2$ million. Google Docs is one of those web application that I personally use a lot. Only 1 downside. You need to be connected to the internet to view and or edit them. MiGhtyDocs solves this problem.
