Earthworm Jim has been released today. Gameloft promised the game would be available for everybody on October 21st, so here it is. The game is 111 MB, so you need some patience before you can play the game. Even though the holiday season will cost us a lot of money, I think you can find some dollars to buy this classic SEGA game. 
Rock Band has been released and is now available in the App Store for $9,99. In this post you can find two hands-on videos and a description of the game. 
TomTom has released their first update for their navigation software application. Version 1.1 delivers some enhanced gps-technology which improves the accuracy of showing your location on the map. The update also adds a new feature called “Navigate to contact”. This feature recognizes multiple address formats, even addresses with abbreviations. Navigating to persons from your contact-list already was an option in version 1.0. TomTom 1.1 is handy but not something you really need to have. We’re still waiting for functions like traffic information. 
Since free apps can now offer In-App Purchases, Ngmoco has announced that their first person shooter “Eliminate” will be free.
