Eliminate is a much anticipated game and has now been released as a beta in Canada. Ngmoco is trying to find out how the servers will do and if the game shows no lag. If everything goes how they want it to go then a worldwide release won’t be far away now. The game is free for everybody and will stay free, also when it hits worldwide. One of the most anticipated titles that we can remember, id Software’s Doom Classic is now in the App Store. The game includes the original three episodes as well as Episode Four, They Flesh Consumed. 
After iTunes 9.0.2 and the firmware upgrade for Apple TV 3.0 appeared, Apple also updated their Remote application. There are now new functions, only bugfixes. They also added the compatibility with iTunes 9 and Apple TV 3. Remote enables you to control music on your Apple TV or computer with your iPhone. The iPhone (or iPod touch) shows the buttons.
Kolonists is no longer in the App Store, so fans of the genre had no real game on the iPhone that had the look and feel of that board game genre. But all those fans don’t have to wait any longer, because “Catan: The First Island” has been launched in the App Store. 
Shervin Pishevar, CEO from SGN, was very pleased when he heard Apple announced the In-App Purchasing availability for free apps. He believes it’s a fundamental movement of how developers use the App Store. As a reaction the Apple’s announcement, SGN decided to create a free version of the game F.A.S.T. 
StoneLoops! of Jurassica has been pulled from the iTunes App Store because of a copyright infringement complaint from Luxor-maker MumboJumbo.
