Tim Cook “Apple’s CEO” has published an letter to customers to apologize for the new Apple-powered Maps app in iOS 6. Apple replaced Google Maps with their own Apple Maps in iOS 6 but “most” people prefer Google Maps over Apple Maps, Tim Cook wrote in the letter that Apple is “sorry for the frustration this has caused our customers” and even told its customers to use alternative Map apps “like Bing, MapQuest and Waze, or use Google or Nokia maps” while Apple is improving Maps.
