Apple wrote on theirĀ investor page that they will announce their earnings for the first fiscal quarter on Wednesday, January 23 with the conference call scheduled at 5:00 PM Eastern / 2:00 PM Pacific. The earnings release “which typically occurs just after 4:30 PM Eastern Time” will provide a look into the strength of the iPhone 5 and iPad mini sales.

On January 1, users discovered that the scheduling portion of the “Do Not Disturb” feature in iOS 6 failed to work. The scheduling would turn itself on as scheduled, but would fail to turn itself off again. Apple has launched a new television ad highlighting their “Do Not Disturb” feature, including Professional tennis players Serena and Venus Williams.
