Apple just announced the software update 2.1 for the iPhone this Friday. Steve calls it “a big update” who will fix a lot of bugs, less call drops, crashes, better battery life and a faster sync. There was still no mention of a copy paste though.

Apple announced new premium in-ear heaphones during the let’s rock event. The most important new feature about these are the dual-drivers, meaning they have a woofer + tweeter. The greatest news about this all is the price-tag which is only 79$. Normally when you buy quality headphones with dual-drivers they will drop your bank account by a steady 200+$.

As predicted Apple showed us iTunes 8.0 at the ‘let’s rock’ event. Most of us already knew that, as the infomation was leaked already. The new imortant features are Genius Playlists, Grid view and the HD shows. I’ll go into more detail after the break.

iMarkMySpot uses the built in GPS functionality of the Apple iPhone to store exact waypoint locations, after which they can be emailed to any address as a standard GPX-formatted file, compatible with many photography and mapping software packages. Using the time stamps from the photos and the time stamp of the stored waypoints, digital photos are then easily Geocoded and Geotagged.

Gameloft released their new 3D soccer simulation game, Real Football 2009 at the price of $9.99. Control is done by virtual buttons on-screen.
Gameloft also plans to provide real-time multiplayer mode over Wi-Fi in a future update.
