The CharityBuzz auction for “coffee with Apple CEO Tim Cook at Headquarters in Cupertino” has just ended with a final bid of $610,000. The bid has been placed by somebody known only as “a********s.” and CharityBuzz will not release the name of the high bidder. The winner of this auction is entitled to a 30–60 minute meeting with Cook at Apple headquarters on a mutually agreed upon date.
Bill Gates “the founder of Microsoft” was interviewed by Charlie Rose on this week’s edition of 60 minutes, in the interview he talks about his relationship with Steve Jobs and their final conversation before Jobs passed away in 2011.
Gates grew emotional as he recalled visiting Jobs just before his death. The billionaire welled up as he described their last conversation, which he described as “forward-looking.”
“He showed me the boat he was working on,” said Gates, “and talked about how he’s looking forward to being on it, even though we both knew there was a good chance that wouldn’t happen.”

Apple has just increased its promotion for the upcoming milestone of 50 billion downloads from the App Store, moving it to the front page of apple.com. The person who downloads the 50 billionth app will receives a $10,000 iTunes Store gift card and the next 50 downloaders will all receive a $500 gift cards.
