This is not really iPhone related news, but as i’m on the job and i don’t have so much time posting new iPhone or iPod touch app or game reviews, i thought this might be nice as a little break.

Apple just released 2 new video’s today.?�
Wallpaper is one of those iPhone/iPod touch apps you just want to have.
The app is as simple as it is smart.
When you launch the app, it asks you share your wallpaper. If you don’t want to do this, that’s ok too, but the more people share the more wallpapers will be available for download.
I just found this new little app in the repository and i thought, let’s give it a go :)
To be honest, i don’t really know what this app does.
My best guess is that it trains you to hear specific chords, intervals and scales.
What i did understand from it:
It plays some intervals, chords or scales from a selected instrument. eg Piano, and then let’s you chose which one it is.
I think this app is handy for the people constantly working with music or the ones that would like to recognize some music parts better(but then again, I’m no musician, if anyone of the readers can explain me what it is, please do :) ).
What I can tell you about Herbert von Karajan is that it was a famous Austrian orchestra and opera conductor, one of the most renowned 20th century conductors.

Now let’s go back to the app, i think this app was writen by someone who greatly admires Herbert von Karajan and who also loves classical music.

Now we have the Magic8 program for your iPhone /iPod Touch.
If you don’t know something and desperately want the answer? Run the program, give your iPhone a little shake and the answer will show.

What’s an iPhone without an instant messenger?
Well i’ve thought the same line several times, but no more.
Yesterday I installed Mobilechat v2.23 from Andre Sendowski, and i must say i’m pleasantly suprised.
The app works like a charm, currently i only use it for MSN, but you have a lot of other options too.
You can add accounts for ICQ, MSN, XMPP, .MAC and AOL.

We are glad to know that this is only an april fools joke.
