CorePlayer is currently working on a iPhone version that they will release in the AppStore. For the people who don’t know what coreplayer is, coreplayer is a mobile multimedia player that supports almost every codec that is currently available. The app is still in heavy development but i got some screenshots and a video to show you what it will be capable off.
I didn’t had the chance yet to have a look at the app itself, but some details are already available. The app won’t be free, it will have a price between $29.95 and $39.95 (which i think is expensive if you know that ZodPlay (vlc4iphone) will soon be available !
The following audio codecs will probably be supported:
MP3, MP2, AAC, MKA, WMA, Midi*, WAV, OGG, Speex, WAVPACK, TTA, FLAC, MPC, AMR, ADPCM, ALaw, MuLaw, G.729, GSM
As for video, these are the ones that shoul be supported soon…
H.264 (AVC), AVCHD, MKV, MPEG-1, MPEG-4 part 2 (ASP), DivX, XviD, WMV*, Theora*, Dirac*, MJPEG, MSVIDEO1

im surprised that Apple allowed this app to be sold on AppStore, if it is possible to play all of this file formats, why not just implant it on iPhone it self and playback on default player for youtube?
