guys, happy new year and wish everything get better in the new year.

Newly available: iApps Helper, a freeware Windows application that greatly assists you in organizing and managing on your PC the applications (we call them iApps) that you’ve downloaded from the iTunes app store for your iPhone or iPod touch (iPot for short).  See www.iAppsHelper.com!

First and foremost, it’s a much better way to decide which iApps gets sent to the iPhone/iPot and which don’t.  Unlike iTunes, where you can only check or uncheck iApps and cannot see more information or even how many are checked, iApps Helper gives you a resizable table with resizable and sortable columns showing all sorts of useful information about your iApps.  Here are just a few of its key features:

• Each iApp has a checkbox for you to say whether or not it gets sync’d to the iPhone/iPot next time you sync with iTunes
• Each iApp has columns for filename, version, size, date, and several fields that you can fill in – which it will remember permanently.  The user-fillable fields include the iApp’s Display Name (the name you see in iTunes or on the handheld, which is often different from the filename), a rating that you can assign, a description, and the price you paid for the iApp.
• We have pre-filled the database with the Display Names of over 600 commonly-used iApps.
• You’ll always know exactly how many iApps you’ve chosen to download.  (Some of us actually exceed the handheld’s maximum of 148 iApps shown!)
• iApps Helper is a lot faster than iTunes at listing your iApps.  Plus, you can use the keyboard to select/deselect checkboxes, unlike in iTunes.  And another speed bonus: every iApp you uncheck is one less iApp that iTunes must open and scan (because the iApps are moved to a separate folder, still tracked by iApps Helper but not by iTunes, when unchecked) – so iTunes launches faster too!

There are other nice features to discover and enjoy.  We plan to improve iApps Helper, too.  We will listen to all bug reports and suggestions.  If the feature makes managing your iApps easier, we want to implement it!  For example, we expect to optionally show each iApp’s icon in a release coming soon, and we hope to create a Macintosh version before too long.

iApps Helper has no viruses or other malware.  It does show relevant ads in a small area at the bottom of its window, in order to defray development costs.  If this is objectionable to many users, we will consider other means of support instead, including registration.

My Google Calendar syncs well with my iCal on my Mac and I can edit
events both on Google Calendar and on my Mac iCal.
When I sync with my iPhone (v. 2.0) I can select my shared Google
Calendar and see the events. BUT - I can'r edit the event on my
iPhone, no Edit button at all.

Can NemuSync solve this problem?

Well the dev team have done it again and gave us a new year gift. The 3g soft unlock has been out since yesterday but is constantly being updated so it's still in beta state but it's working really good!! the software is called yellosn0w it's not a gui like quickpwn but a package that you can download directly from cydia or installer!

During holiday, we have recorded many ourselves videos by Digital Video Camcorders (DV), (such as Canon FS100, Canon DC210, Canon VIXIA, Canon ZR950, SONY HDR-SR12E, SR11E, SONY DCR-SR65E, SONY HVR-A1C etc), how to put DV videos onto our iPod, PSP, iPhone, Zune? How to share our favorite videos with friends? Follow this article, when you finish reading it, you will know how to do that.

Most of recorded video's formats are DV-AVI, WMV, MPEG, M2TS, if we want to put them onto iPod/PSP/iPhone/Zune(MP4) or upload them onto Youtube(FLV), we should convert the DV videos.

Part 2: How to Edit, Crop, Effect, Trim DVD movie, and take snapshots for Windows?

1. Trim DVD Title or Chapter
Select any clips of DVD chapter or title which you like most. You can set start/end time by clicking the up-down arrow in the Set start/end time box and click OK. Alternatively, you can also trim video by click left bracket to set the start time and right bracket to set the end time where the DVD is playing. Click arrow-brackets, you can preview your trimmed video clip at the starting time.   





2. Crop DVD movie
Crop feature enables you to cut out the unwanted video area, like black sides. Select an output aspect ratio from the Zoom list. Four choices available: Original, Full screen, 16:9 and 4:3. Click reset button to cancel the schedule as necessary. You can directly drop and drag the dashed line to crop. Alternatively, if want more exact, you can type the values into the crop window: Up, Down, Left and right.





3. Adjust Video Effects
Customize your personality DVD video. Adjust video brightness, contrast or saturation. You can select special effects from the drop-down mean including gray, emboss or old film effect. If want more fun, you can set horizontal or vertical turning.





4. Take Video Snapshots
On the right area of the main interface, you can preview the DVD movie with a simple player. You are allowed to take snapshots of the playing video while previewing with camera icon. Click green folder icon to open the snapshot folder. You can also specify the snapshot save path by click “Option” button. The captured video pictures can be saved as jpeg, bmp, or png format.
