I don't like the iPhone 3G headphones at all so use the old iPhone headphones for everyday use. The iPhone 3G headphones just don't fit my ears well, I should try and wear them a bit more and maybe they will get a bit better. In more noisy environments such as on an airplane then I use my Shure e2c. They sound great and do a great job of canceling out outside noise. The only problem is that they have no microphone so you can't take calls with them, which doesn't bother me because my phone is in airplane mode when I use them or mowing the lawn or something so couldn't talk even if someone did try to ring. They also seem a bit of a hassle for everyday use, I like to look after them by putting them in the case, whereas my iPhone ones I can just put in my pocket or something quickly before going into a lecture or wherever without too much worry.
