iPhone firmware 2.0 slowness?

Several users have been reporting a very sluggish firmware 2.0 interface. They have noticed this exceptionally well within the txt application, scrolling and the home screen.� The users have noticed this with the iPhone V1 and iPhone 3G. Hit the read more button for some vids.

When this happens to me when I’m typing an SMS, if I exit the application and go back it fixes the slow typing. Although, I am experiencing the other problems also.

Yeah, it’s quite annoying, I really hope Apple is working on something to fix this. I’ve too many times just been typing and my phone restart out of nowhere. And the crashes on the Firmware 2.0 seem to take a lot longer to reboot then just a normal reboot.

yeah I see a lot of people are having this problem. Theres roomers there working on 2.0.1 i hope it comes out soon. ive already restored mine once because it would boot it just sat there on the apple logo screen for 15 min. Also I wouldn’t download any apps straight to the phone its best just to use itunes unless you want to wait til its done because it will slow the phone down a lot. When im texting it just keep going even though the phone is way behind it catches up eventually. 1.1.4 ran a lot better then this. They will fix it soon. i hope.

Worst than that is that I’ve got a Blaukpunt cable for the car radio and since 2.0 update, it doesn’t charge my iPod, but it now shows you what song it’s playing. I much prefer it to charge my touch than to see the name of the song.
