The Blog of Databinge is reporting that he’s hard at work to port all his current applications (Moleskine, WildEyes for Safari, TimeCapsule) for iPhone firmware 2.0 compatibility. The official word on his blog is:
I have been busy reading up on 2.0 SDK and converting my current applications to run on 2.0. Even more so that Pwnage is released now. Sorry if you guys think that I have been ignoring your emails or the forum. I have to put my full attention on the conversion, and everything else on hold.

Before you upgrade think about this. Although Cydia is installed with PwnageTool 2.0 there are no App’s available just yet. If you love your 1.1.X app’s i do not recommend to upgrade for now. In the next couple of days developers will start to release updated versions of their popular apps.

Apple product head Greg Joswiak responded questions regarding the iPhone firmware 2.0. The first question that everybody wants to have answered is ‘Why isn’t there cut and paste?’ Apple has a priority list of features, and they got as far as they could down that list with this model, Joswiak answered. In other words, they don’t have anything against cut and paste. They just judged other things to be more important.
