Besides the introduction of Safari 4 and Snow Leopard it was also time to introduce the iPhone OS 3.0. The new iPhone OS 3.0 will launch on June 17th and will be available for everybody. For iPhone users the update is free, but iPod Touch users have to pay $9,95.

Bigger iPhone Screen?

The format of the current iPhone screen is not a standard. A standard screen size could be 16:9. Rumor goes that the next iPhone will have a bigger screen. A standard size this time at 16:9.
Financial Times reports that Apple will probably launch a cheaper version of the iPhone on Monday June 8th at the WWDC. They are very confident about this.
We just got a picture of Andrew Sansardo. It looks like the real deal. The iPhone on this picture has everything, so it seems. The front camera, a thinner look and higher ear speaker. It could still be a mockup, a fake, but if so it is really well done. Draw your own conclusions.
