Engadget posted a couple of pictures of the new iPhone 3GS. The pictures show a boxed iPhone and then unboxed. The Voice Control and Compass features are also shown on the pictures. We’ll just have to wait 5 more days till OS 3.0 and another couple of days before the iPhone 3GS is released.
A user on the forum of Hackintosh, posted a list of the 100 new features that come with OS 3.0. The new firmware will be available on June 17th, so in just a few days everybody can test this OS 3.0.
T-Mobile.nl posted a page of the iPhone 3GS with some specifications. Apple already said this new iPhone is all about speed. Better processor, more memory and better graphics performance. Not there are some details about what kind of processor and how much memory is present in the new iPhone.
The new iPhone 3GS doesn;t have a matte casing. Many people hoped or believed the new iPhone would have a matte casing. Now it seems like the photos about this matte casing that leaked months ago were fake. But further study shows they were possibly true. Apple just experimented with different casings.
The screen of the new iPhone 3GS is greaseproof. It has had some kind of oleofobic treatment on the screen. With this greaseproof screen it is much easier to wipe off greasy spots.
After all the different rumors, the new iPhone is finally here. Not much has changed on the outside, but the inside is a big difference. The small list of most reasonable rumors we made, has come true. Together with OS 3.0 this new iPhone is more than worth buying.
Besides the introduction of Safari 4 and Snow Leopard it was also time to introduce the iPhone OS 3.0. The new iPhone OS 3.0 will launch on June 17th and will be available for everybody. For iPhone users the update is free, but iPod Touch users have to pay $9,95.
