The Big Stone Phone company released it’s innovative new application for iPhone and iPod Touch 2 named “MobileMix” – the portable pocket music studio. MobileMix brings beatboxing to the iPhone. A loop machine of sorts, MobileMix lets you record individual tracks and play them all back at the same time, creating a grand orchestra from just a single voice. Or pass it around and let friends each layer a track.

Noise.io is a music generator (synthesizer application). Noise.io is made by Amidio and it uses the touchscreen, multitouch and accelerometer. Some more technical specs: The developers have used Enhanced Subspace Frequency Modulation (ESFM) instead of the traditional FM-modulation. The will make it easier to create unique sounds.

One month ago Apple rejected Podcaster from the App Store, the strange explication from Apple at that time was that Podcaster duplicates the functionality of the Podcast section of iTunes. But now it’s getting clear why they rejected the app.
