Important note: Uninstall WinPwn 1.0 first. Installing 2.0 over 1.0 will cause problems.

Yesterday i brought you guys the news about the release of the xPwn 0.2 binaries. It didn’t take very long before some developers started to create a windows version of the PwnageTool. Today merely some hours later, a new developer called Neiluj1493 (who’s 15 years) release a his xWinPwn application.

GeoHot, the same person who created yiphone.org last week, has released a DFU tool for the iPhone. It uses an implementation of the same exploit that is present in PwnageTool 2.0, and allows you to do whatever you want at the iPhone’s DFU level. The iPhone DevTeam have released the new PwnageTool that supports the new 2.0 firmware. Currently, it is for Macs only. To download it, go here. It supports both the first generation and 3G iPhone, although unlocking for the iPhone 3G is not yet available.

Are you getting bored of the same blue theme color?
Well i made some packages that will let you change your theme interface colors to, yellow, lightblue(aqua), darkblue, grey, black, orange, lemon, green , lila and for the girls pink !

What do you have to do to get this activated onto your iPhone or iPod touch?
Add http://iphonefreakz.com/repo.xml to your list of sources and chose the color that you like.

Some of you might have read the article from Jonathan Zdziarski where he states that all your personal data is still on the iPhone after you have restored to a new firmware.

For the people who haven’t read it i’ll quickly explain.
When you restore your iPhone through iTunes, all it does is a quick format.

This means that all your data is still on the iPhone although no longer in the partition table.
If you use Jonathan’s iPhone Forensics Toolkit, it’s not that hard to get all the data back in the open.
This means that all your pictures, e-mails, cookies, etc,etc are visible to the next person who is going to own your iPhone !

Just a quick post to let you guys all know that Winpwn officialy got to version 1.0
I’ll be updating you all with screenshots and i’ll update my WinPwn guides asap.

The changes are :
- Completely rewritten installer app that adds support for nearly every package (Including Cydia)
- You are now able to remove items from installer
- Change logos without restoring. This was requested by a LOT of people
- Various Bug fixes & features
