All of us have apps we absolutely LOVED on 1.1.4. Games, themes, mods, etc. Well we here at iPhoneFreakz love to see our readers (and ourselves even ) happy, so we are going to try our hand at porting some apps to 2.0. Some time ago we informed you guys about a upcoming mod that will turn our iPhones/iPod Touches into real mobile gaming stations.. The iControlPad. Today i received another mail from the creators with a new picture and some news. The iControlPad will probably be priced below $30 and it will offer you a full gaming control pad for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

A new big security risk has been found in firmware 2.0.2. A simple trick will give everybody access to all of the personal information (mail, sms, contacts and safari). To achieve this ‘hack’ you just have to follow some simple steps. First setup a password on your iPhone.

XiPhone is a new Pwning tool based on the XPNW libraries released by the iPhone-Dev Team. The application is a follow-up on xWinPWn that the 15 year old Neiluj1493 created. XiPhone hasn’t been released publicly just yet but some screenshots already have appeared. Hit the read more link for details from the developers.

The Blog of the iPhone Dev-Team got updated with lot’s of new goodies for us. They’ve announced PwnageTool 2.0.3 which now supports firmware 2.0.2 5C1. The update version has Installer.app beta 6 (b6) and it contains updated localization for German. Some details about the app:
