Following the release of Layar on Android smartphones here comes Metro Paris Subway a french application (works in English too) which uses augmented reality to help find POIs and train stations in the french capital.

Navigon, the first navigation software for the iPhone, will receive an update one of these days. The application will be updated to version 1.2. It seems to be a little bit too coincidental to release an update so soon after the release of the TomTom application.
