Many of you may already know about this, but some may not. On TheSpicyChicken’s blog (the developer of Customize), he stated that he has been experimenting with Customize on the 2.0 firmware. Currently, Customize only works on the 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 firmwares. His blog does not state whether he has successfully ported the application to be compatible with 2.0 as of now, but we can hope that when the iPhone DevTeam release the newest jailbreak solution, we shall see Customize available through Installer.

iSlsk received a upate to version 0.3.1 today. I skipped version 0.3 as i had some users mailing me that it didnt work very well. Version 0.3.1 resolves the freezing bug some people had. Let me inform you of the changes coming from version 0.2.1b.

vWallpaper 0.92 and SkrewCommon 1.48 add a very cool new feature. vWallpaper now let’s you set videos as ringtones, much like videosTone. However this version doesn’t allow you to individually set personal videotones just yet… Another thing i noticed is the fact that you can’t run vWallPaper and VideosTone together on your iPhone. If you like skrews (free) apps like iToday and Ringtones, then i do recommend to not install VideosTone but keep using Skrew’s apps.

Formula1 is a iPhone or iPod Touch application where you can find all the Formula1 news for this season. Formula1 features detailed information regarding the teams, results, calendar, constructors rating, drivers rating and links to direct news feeds.

I received a mail from our friends within Fring with some cool news. As i posted some time ago, Fring released their API publicly, see post here. Today they are publicly announcing the first fringAdd-ons developed by fring and 3rd party developers. The first flavors of fringAdd-ons are around social networking, videos and email notifications. As you can see in the screen shots below and in the YouTube clip fring users can already get Gmail notifications, vTap videos, interact with Facebook and Orkut buddies, with more to come.

AgileMessenger is a new native iPhone chat application from AgileMobile that is just fantastic. AgileMessenger supports nearly any chat application like ICQ, MSN, AOL, Yahoo!, Jabber and GoogleTalk). The list of functions is almost limitless.

VideosTone 1.0 is a new application from iFoneTec. We love our ringtones but what if you could set a video instead of these same old same old tones? Well now we have VideosTone , the application allows you to individually set a video per contact on in-coming calls for the Apple iPhone.

CookBook is a new application that has been built upon the older Betty’s cookbook application. It features recipes for breakfast, drinks, dinner and dessert. I can’t find much changes compared to the old Betty application except for a new splash screen and the move to the BigBoss repository.

iWol is a native iPhone application that allows you to wake up computers connected on a lan, better known as Wake-On-LAN. I won’t go into detail to what WOL is, but you can read all about it here. The iPhone native WOL client let’s you remotely start your pc from your iPhone. The application is very easy. When you start it you must enter the name, hostname (dns-name), mac-address, port and enable/disable the broadcast over the LAN. Once you’ve done this you can easily remotely wake up your pc at home by the touch of a button.

Yesterday i brought you guys the news about a training from MacDeveloperTips and today i’ll bring you iPhoneDevCentral. The iPhoneDevCentral website is a little bigger. The principle is a online SDK development community, everybody is free to add instruction video’s and trainings regarding the iPhone SDK. The website features Video Tutorials, a SDK Forum,a weekly challenge and developer blogs.
