iPhone developers received an e-mail from Apple, informing them about Apple’s decision to allow In-App Purchasing for free apps now. The feature was previously restricted to paid applications only. This is a smart move, because developers no longer have to necessarily make a free version AND a paid version. They can now present their app as free, but with limited options. If you want the full app, you can buy the entire app via In-App Purchasing.
