Apple has acquired SnappyLabs, a one-man app maker behind the SnappyCam app, which has now been removed from the app store. TechCrunch reported: “Sources have since affirmed that the company was acquired by Apple, and that there was also acquisition interest “from most of the usual players”, meaning other tech giants. Barricade signage for a new Apple Store in Brisbane, Australia has started appearing. The store will be located in the MacArthur Chambers building. The store doesn’t have an official opening date yet, but signage usually appears 10-14 days ahead of a grand opening.
