Amazon has released a new ad in which they compare the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9″ tablet to an iPad Air. Compare the all-new Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 to iPad Air. Kindle Fire HDX tablet has nearly 1 million more pixels on the 8.9″ display, weighs 20% less than iPad Air, and starts at just $379 (compared to iPad Air’s starting price of $499).
