LG created a commercial for the expanded panoramic and camera capabilities of its Optimus G Pro smartphone. The commercial looks a lot like Apple’s commercial “Cheese”, but after 30 seconds their VR Panorama obviously out-innovates Apple in how beautiful it stitches the photos together to produce a nearly 360-degree image. Maybe it is time for Apple to come up with some expanded panorama features in iOS 7.

In the TV ad, the phone user moves the handset along both horizontal and vertical to capture the ceiling and floor. The ad also shows the tracking feature allowing the handset to keep moving objects in focus.

Here is the Apple TV ad “Cheese” that Apple released in September 2012 to show of the new panorama capability in iOS 6.
