The Taiwanese company HTC has sent out press invitations for a jointed Verizon media event to take place on November 13th. According to the rumors HTC is going to unveil a new 5-inch superphone. The invite reads: “we invite you to experience our latest collaboration” and DroidLife thinks that the announcement is DNA-related.
HTC’s Droid DNA is an Android-based handset with a 5-inch 1080p display and will come with a screen resolution of 440 pixels per square inch, which is way higher than Apple’s 326 pixels per square inch Retina display.
With this Media Event HTC will try to get back in the game after a string of unsuccessful quarters. Can they create a phone that will be a hit? Can they join the battle between Samsung and Apple? We will find out Tuesday November 13th after they held their Media Event in New York City at 11 a.m.
