Apple has only just send out invites to a special event next Tuesday the 23rd of October where they are expected to announce their new iPad Mini, as well as a new 13 inch Retina MacBook Pro and possibly a new Mac Mini. Now Geeky-Gadgets received details about the iPad Mini release date from a trusted source, saying that it will be released in the US and UK on November 2.
Our source, who is someone close to a major UK retailer, and has been reliable in the past, has told us that Apple will start selling the new iPad Mini on Friday the 2nd of November, the device will be available in the US And UK on this date, possibly some other countries as well.
The iPad Mini will go up for pre-order on the same week it is announced, possibly Friday the 26th of October, although our source was not 100 percent sure this would be the exact pre-order date.
According to the latest rumors the iPad Mini will come with a 7.85 inch touchscreen display and a 16:9 aspect ratio, will cost about £200 or $250 for the entry level model which will apparently come with 8GB of storage.
