Today Apple has released iOS 6 to the public and is available for the third-generation iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and fourth-generation iPod touch. To get the update connect your iDevices to iTunes and click the “Check for Update” button or check for over-the-air updates on your iDevices via Settings -> General -> Software Update.

iOS 6 is a 626 MB download and comes with over 200 new features including a new Maps app from Apple “replacing Google Maps”, Facebook integration, Siri improvements, Passbook digital wallet app and way more.
