A view minutes ago Apple finished their Live Event announcing their new iPad. So how is it called, iPad 3, iPad HD? No they decided to call it “The new iPad”. The new iPad includes some amazing new features which makes it another must buy for Apple fans. Check after the break for a detailed list of new features in The new iPad.

Retina Display: The new iPad comes with an ultra-sharp 2048 x 1536 pixel Retina display, which is what we all hoped for. This Retina display looks amazing and has a 264 pixels per inch density, which is a total of 3.1 million pixels in a full color IPS screen. Apple said that it has 44 percent more saturation than the previous IPS technology they were using.

Camera: The new iPad comes with a new camera which is basically the same as the one in the iPhone 4S. The camera can capturing 1080p videos which will look amazing on the new Retina Display. The camera includes stabilized video shooting and temporal noise reduction, which is a technique that greatly reduces the noise.

Processor Power: The new iPad includes an A5X Processor, which includes a quad-core graphics module. This processor is needed for the graphics because it has to push 3.1 million pixels.

Design: The design of The new iPad is almost the same as the design of the iPad 2, it is 9.4mm thick which is only 0.6mm thicker than the iPad 2. It weights 1.46 pounds (662 grams) which is around 50 grams heavier.

Memory, 4G and Dictation: Apple did not announce the amount of memory available in The new iPad, but it is pretty clear that theRAM memory has been increased  to handle the new resolution. In the Event they never talked about Siri, but The new iPad offers a new microphone button which will allow you to dictate emails, presumably using Siri technology.

AT&T and Verizon are offering 4G LTE on The new iPad which will give you up to 21Mbps on HSPA+ networks, 42Mbps on DC-HSDPA and 73Mbps on LTE.

Costs and Launch Date: The new iPad will be available on March 16 in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia on the same day. It will cost $499, $599 and $699 for 16, 32, and 64GB. If you want 4G LTE, you will have to spend $629, $729, and $829.
