A 27 year old British women has beaten the world record texting using the SWYPE-keyboard of the Samsung Galaxy S. She was shopping with her 23 year old friend “Chris Davies” and visited a road show of Samsung. While she was taking a look at the roadshow, the Samsung employees invited her to break the world record texting using the Samsung Galaxy S. She did it within 26 seconds and broke the world record by doing it 9 seconds faster.

But unfortunately for her it looks like that record has already been broken by a iPhone 4 user yesterday, who uploaded a movie to YouTube showing he did it within 22 seconds.

The iPhone 4 user Brian Sweet only needed 21,8 seconds to type the sentence “the razor-toothed piranhas of the genera Serrasalmus and Pygocentrus are the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world. In reality they seldom attack a human”.

You think you can do it better? Show us by creating your own video “with timer” and upload it to YouTube.
