apple rejected firmware 3.1.2We now know that Firmware 3.1.3 is made to stop people from jailbreaking, and ok.. they also fixed some small bugs. But we can still jailbreak when we downgrade to firmware 3.1.2 right? Well guess what… Apple has removed the digital signature for the firmware 3.1.2.

What does that mean for you?… Well that means that you will not be able to downgrade using iTunes ones you upgraded to firmware 3.1.3, and that means that it is still not possible for everyone to jailbreak their iPod or iPhone.

iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G users don’t have to worry, because you don’t need Apple to sign your firmware files.

We will keep you updated.

This sucks, probably means that when 4.0 comes out it’ll take months to jailbreak

I think it’s an error that steeve jobs does it ’cause a lot of people by the iPhone knowing that they can really take advantage of all the possibilities of the device. Without jailbreaking i’m afraid that the new google phone will be the new ‘geek’ phone

Ok, so here we are 3 years later with our wonder iDevices. To be honest when I first bought my iPhone 1G I loved it. At that time it was the only game in town and did what other phones only dreamed of doing.

Then one day I read up about jailbreaking. And I was intrigued. Once I jailbroke my device I was addicted. Ever since then I cannot and I mean CANNOT live without jailbreaking my iPhone.

I’m VERY worried about the next firmware (4.0). BUT I am scared to death of the rumored iPhone 4G! I mean if Apple released the newer 3GS with the updated boot loader that cripples jailbreaking (even though it’s a tethered jailbreak) then think of what hardware implementations they are producing on the new iPhone. I truly hope the dev team and/or geohot can counter whatever Apple does to the new iPhone.

Then again maybe Apple will open up the phone and no one will feel the need to jailbreak it (I’m very iffy on that one LOL). Otherwise if it look grim Nexus One here I come and I’m VERY serious!
