We now know that Firmware 3.1.3 is made to stop people from jailbreaking, and ok.. they also fixed some small bugs. But we can still jailbreak when we downgrade to firmware 3.1.2 right? Well guess what… Apple has removed the digital signature for the firmware 3.1.2.
What does that mean for you?… Well that means that you will not be able to downgrade using iTunes ones you upgraded to firmware 3.1.3, and that means that it is still not possible for everyone to jailbreak their iPod or iPhone.
iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G users don’t have to worry, because you don’t need Apple to sign your firmware files.
We will keep you updated.
