Users of TomTom’s popular iPhone navigation application will soon be able to use new advanced features in TomTom update 1.2. Last Thursday the update was submitted to Apple for approval.“…it’ll deliver advanced lane guidance, text-to-speech, “Help Me,” updated map / safety cameras (in select European nations) databases, customizable audio warnings and iPod player control.”
The new version also contains the latest maps and speed camera database. You will hear a sound warning for extra safety. It also saves money that way because you will know when you approach a speed camera and it gives sound warnings when your speed is too high.
If you don’t have TomTom yet, you can go to the [App Store] for the different versions of the application.
