Sending messages on your iPhone is easy, but it is not easy to see when you send one or two messages. There’s an app for that ofcourse. Via Cydia you can find the SMS Helper. After installation you can see how many characters you’ve typed and how many messages you’ll send when you press the send button.
This function is added to the sms.app and adds a character counter. Install it, restart Springboard and voila. You can now use this nice little handy feature. While typing a message you’ll see how many characters you’ve used, how many you can type and how many messages you’ll send. After you stop typing for 2 or 3 seconds, the counter changes back to the button ’send’.
SMS Helper is free. Search ‘Sms helper’ to find the app. You need a jailbroken iPhone that runs firmware 3.0 or higher.
P.S. the picture on the right says it’s version 0.1 but when you find the app in Cydia you’ll see that there’s a version 0.3.2 by now.

think there is a bug. worked well for some days and then all of a sudden it shows i have more than 2 million sms! reset it and in a few days, again. uninstalled and reinstalled and in a few days again!
