Watch this! We take one Japanese guy, one helmet, one iPhone, one bicycle and a good sense of humor. What do you get?….A chinese guy, with a helmet with an iPhone attached to it, on a bicycle and a futuristic display in front of his eyes.
Okay, I’m joking…a little. A Japanese company called, Ubiquitous Entertainment, made this prototype helmet for cyclists.
“Due to safety concerns, the developers suggested that the Scalar Corporation T3-A HMD should be retracted while riding. So it’s definitely not ready for prime time, with the iPhone exposed to the elements on top of your helmet, and having to stop for directions. Still, it’s an innovative use of the core functionality of the iPhone plus add-ons like the head-mounted display and an ADSP Bluetooth headset for voice control and for your cycling soundtrack.”

@Deep that’s fun, probably the most special thing about this whole post! Just kidding, this tool would need some adjustments but then it could be a great gadget. Then again why couldn’t you just mount it at the steer?
