Apple’s Steve Jobs has been seen in the open in Cupertino. It’s the first picture of Jobs after his return to Apple. He is walking with Johnathan Ive (Senior Vice President of Industrial Design). The picture is taken by someone in a car, when the two passed by.
It’s weird to see Steve in the same clothing as when he delivers the keynote. Together with the fact he is walking with Johnathen Ive, could this mean they are returning from a presentation practice? Or maybe they are heading to a location where they can practice a presentation. And what kind of presentation? Maybe to announce the new iPods? Or the Mac Tablet? Or is Apple preparing to announce the new CEO of Apple?
In onther news, The Wall Street Journal reports that Apple has interest in attending the CES 2010. Consumer Electronics Assosiation (CEA), organizes CES for the last 30 years. CEA’s Gary Shapiro is trying to get Steve Jobs to deliver a keynote at CES, but Jobs hasn’t answered yet.
At a dinner with journalists this week in San Francisco, CEA’s Shapiro was asked whether he’s invited Jobs, who recently returned from medical leave, to keynote the show. Yes, Jobs has been asked, but nobody from Apple has gotten back to him, Shapiro said.
The Wall Stree Journal says Steve Jobs will not deliver a keynote at CES, but Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer and Intel’s CEO Paul Otellini will.
Engadget claims to know Apple will NOT attend the CES. Time will tell who’s right and who’s not.
