In the past few years, lots and lots of iPhone- and iPode-docks were released on the market. They made it possible to listen to your mp3-player music on the stereo. The A2DP Bluetooth Audio Receiver seems to be a more affordable solution.
Docks for iPods, iPhones and other mobile devices are handy, but are rarely cheap. Sometimes the prices can go down with houndred’s of dollars. The Audio Receiver from E-blue seems to be a cheaper option. The device costs only 34 euro’s.
You don’t need to push your iPod Touch, iPhone or other Bluetooth mobile device into a docking station. You only need to carry your phone with you. The device will receive the music-info via Bluetooth and transfers it into an analog signal. Those signals will then be carried on to the stereo. It is important to know that you need OS 3.0 installed on the iPod Touch or iPhone.
The smart device isn’t even half as big as the iPhone so it is easy to hide the device. Unfortunately it has to be connected to a wall-plug. A battery for such a small device would have been more convenient. Also the distance between the receiver and the mobile device can not be more than 10 meters.

I wrote about a workable A2DP solution back in July. Check out my blog post at

This solution solves the need to plug your A2DP receive into a wall outlet as described above. Happy driving.
