“We haven’t been approached by Apple,” says Harold Goddijn, head of TomTom, about a possible acquisition by the American company. The rumors about Apple having an interest in TomTom started to spread last Friday.
TomTom announced their TomTom navigation software for the iPhone at the WWDC keynote. The Dutch producer of navigationsystems will release their iPhone app later this summer along with a car-kit accessory.
The stockmarket for TomTom made a huge jump after those rumors aired on the web.
