The newest update of Pocket God has been approved by Apple. Episode 18 Surf’s Up introduces a tsunami. After the tsunami your Pygmies are still alive and holding their breath under water. They find some ruins and a new way to get killed (hehe).
Who doesn’t love Pocket God? The game is super popular and already reached more than a million downloads. The two creators, Dan and Kyle, are rich. They are busy with a new project. But that’s all I know. There’s no name, no details of any kind. On their blog, PocketGod.blogspot, people are speculating a second version of Pocket God. For now, the updates keep coming and PG is still available for $0,99.
In this new update you can create a tsunami by sliding your finger quickly over the sea. A giant wave grabs the Pygmies and pulls them under water where they find some ruins. This new place is the third area to go. You have the original island ofcourse and several weeks ago a new island was introduced in a trilogy. This time the sea is the new area. Your pygmies are swimming and holding their breath. Nothing happens when you do nothing, so apparantly those pygmies can hold their breath forever :P.

The sea area is still very empty so I assume some kind of seamonster will be added in a future update. However, there are some ruins on the bottom of the sea. On the left side is a piranha like statue. Touch the statue and a harpoon shoots out of his mouth. When a Pygmy is in its way it will be pierced by it and die. A bug has been found already. The deaths caused by the harpoon are not registered in the gifts/sacrifice system. Bolt Creative will probably solve that in the next update.
The sea area opens up a lot of new possibilities. Sea monsters can be added, maybe the shark can come by. The next update will be a clean-up update so there will be no major new stuff added. Nevertheless I’m looking forward to the next episode of Pocket God.
App Store: Pocket God $0,99.
