Engadget reports four iPhone models coming out soon. Those models will range storage from 4 GB all the way up to 32 GB. Although it seems weird to downgrade a device, especially for Apple, it could indicate an iPhone Nano as rumors stated a while ago.
Boy Genius Report also speaks about the new iPhone models. The 4 GB version will probably be just $99, but only in combination with a 3 year contract with Fido. Â This iPhone will have triband HSDPA, quadband EDGE, a 2 megapixel camera and an iChat videofunction. That means at least the 4 GB version has a camera at the front. It is very likely to believe the other iPhone versions will have a front-camera as well.
This still is no hard evidence these rumors are true, but with two websites reporting about the same it is more likley to assume these rumors are correct. The picture shown above warns that the iPhone shown next to the price is not an actual product.
The PCS Type Review Certification Board, the body responsible for certificating handsets for use with certain carriers as AT&T, just approved the different models. So if these reports are based on facts, Apple will introduce two new models, the 4 GB and the 32 GB version. With all the details leaking and spreading on the internet it seems likely Apple will present more details at WWDC next week.
