Push Notification, an important new feature that comes with the OS 3.0 software in June, is being tested in, as what Apple calles, a high-volume testing environment. A screenshot with details about the settings showed up.
This system allows users to costumize settings after they give permission to allow Push Notification. People can then choose to turn on the Sounds, Alerts and Badges. Alerts gives a massage in the form of a SMS-like massage while Badges shows a number in the corner of  the icon of the application.
