Apple has made a mark on the Fortune 100 list for the first time in 15 years, approaching 71st place. Last year Apple was ranked at 103rd position.

Fortune magazine releases Fortune 500 listing every year which ranks largest corporations based in America. These lists are based on gross revenue.

In the same list, other player are HP at 9, Microsoft is at 35 and Google, being out of 100 is at 117 position.
