A lawsuit filed in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Texas Marshall Division, the patent describes a “method and apparatus for detecting camera sensor intensity saturation.”
The lawsuit states that the image sensors made by Micron Technology and its subsidiary Aptina Imaging, violate the patent held by Accolade.
Accolade notes that these sensors are being used in various consumer products and cell phones, including Apple’s iPhone. Apple is not mentioned on the lawsuit, but the components used in iPhone is the part of it. Jury is going to trail as requested by Accolade.
