The new-coming?
There are tones of rumors hovering around after the OS 3.0 announcement about the next generation iPhone. Reports are suggesting a video camera will be part of the unknown iPhone.
Rumors put forward the speculations towards “Faster internet speeds”. This could mean AT&T’s 4G network, but this won’t be ready for at least a year and this won’t be from global prospective as well. It could also be pointing towards WiFi connectivity.
AppleInsider is also claiming about the camera will be of higher resolution with video. The crowd has been waiting for this since the launch of the iPhone.
With the iPhone OS 3.0 scheduled to be released this summer (may be June), we will have to wait and watch for the next release of the iPhone. Apple will surely take us to a surprise and the next level of iPhone-ing.

I just don’t see any improvements possible on the case, iPhone is already as small as it can be, comfortable to the hand. I don’t know, maybe the back would be made from a less slippery material.
I’m guessing this will be a kind of “Pro” release, because there wouldn’t be a new feature like 3G support and GPS that would lead into a discontinuation like it happened before.
For the future:
- 4G support
- HD (720p playback and record)
- Frontal camera (I believe with 4G Internet connection video chats will become more popular)
By the way, nice transparent concept on that picture, who knows this will be our future universal mobile device.
Even if it is with all the features you are guessing, it will be 100% user friendly .. And everything will be perfect as the current iPhone. Apple’s work culture suggests nothing less than this. This I can bet with full confidence. :-)
I’ve been thinking and what I said doesn’t make much sense, it’s way more probable that this model replaces the current iPhone 3G than otherwise… I’m just hoping it doesn’t because I have one… hehe
