sygic-gps-iphone3gThe Mobile World Congress is starting soon. To be exact from 16 to 19 february. A newsflash just came in from the company Sygic that they will be present on the Mobile World Congress with SygicMobile for the iPhone 3G. Sygic will present its inovative GPS navigation software for wide range of mobile devices and smartphones including the iPhone 3G.

With it’s intuitive user interface, fast 3D rendering engine and unique safety features, Sygic navigation is proven choice for OEM, distributors, car manufacturers and logistics companies.

SygicMobile will offer :

  • Teleatlas maps
  • voice navigation
  • Turn-by-Turn directions

However.. as Apple still hasn’t changed it’s licence regarding GPS applications, i personally don’t think this will be released to the public anytime soon. If you remember Apple explicitly doesn’t allow turn-by-turn applications to be released with the SDK.

Perhaps Sygic got a license from Apple to release this software? We will soon find out.
