Have you ever used a IM client? Well, then you know how the ”Basic” layout is right? But, if your like me, then you would think it would be cool to have a SMS style IM client, right? If so, your in the right Blog, Read the whole article to see what this Client is, and how you might enjoy it!!!
So, this client is called BeejiveIM. Its an AIM/iChat, MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk, ICQ, Jabber, and a MySpaceIM. These are the IM Clients this App works with, and it has a SMS style chat bubbles. Is this App worth it? Well, that depends? How much are you willing to pay for this App? Think about that while reading this review, and the price is listed at the bottom, so match what you though it was worth to how much it is, and see if YOU think its worth it. Personally, i think it is! After you set-up your username, and settings, Then you can open the App. When you open it, the first screen you get is the Status Page. I think this part is awesome! When you open it, it DOESN’T automatically sign you on! I LOVE THAT FEATURE! sometimes i just wanna check buddy status’s with out being ”ON”. So after YOU sign in, you can go to the ”Buddy List” tab. There, of course are your Buddy’s. They are arranged in Status order, That means all of your Online buddies are on top, and offline are on bottom. So Now comes the Feature i like, as in the picture below, you can see that it has a SMS style chat. When you first have it, it will automatically use a default iPhone Text style, but you can customize the background, as well as the In and Out bubbles. You can also set you buddies in a Favorites tab, of course for your Favorites. I hope this Review helps you to make a decision on whether or not to buy it or not, have a ”Guess Price” yet? you should do an article pitting all the im clients against each other. Like palringo has different display themes and theres one thatt looks just like this. Also plaringo can send voice messages. sorta
When they implement group chat and the ability to use those groups like http://groups.im/ I’ll give it 5 stars.
