Pipes is a puzzle sort of game available in the App Store. All you have to do is connect the pipes up in a way in which the water flows through all of them. Quite simple really. You are getting timed while you are arranging the pipes but your times are not recorded. This is something I would like to see in a feature update. Also there are 9 levels of difficulty which increase the board size the harder the level. More inside!
The 9 difficulty levels are:
- Training Wheels (4×4)
- Super Easy (6×6)
- Easy (8×8)
- Normal (8×10)
- Hard(12×15)
- Nuts (16×20)
- Crazy (20×25)
- Ludicrous (28×35)
- Insane (40×50)
All of these difficultys have different levels for you to complete. I don’t think I have had any repeats yet. To choose what difficultly you want, all you have to do is tap ‘Options’ in the bottom right. Then tap a difficulty and it will be highlighted in blue and then you just tap ‘Save’ in the top right. When you choose a difficulty past ‘Normal’ the whole level does not fit on the screen so you just need to scroll about like you would in Safari.
To play the game you just tap the different squares and they move around. When you have chosen the position you want just go on to the next one. As I said earlier you get timed when playing so you need to go as quick as possible. The timer is displayed on the bottom left of the screen. When you first open the game there isn’t any menu so the game just starts automatically. When you finish a level a pop up is displayed showing your time.To start a new game just tap ‘Ok’.
Overall I think Pipes is quite a good game and if you just want a quick game on the bus or something it is ideal.
